Day 303 "Draped in baby..."

The baby is sick.

And by baby I mean Blaze.

Unlike most people who frequently write or post things on the internet, I don't just assume you know that.

So Blaze, my kid, is sick. Officially. Doctor said so. Paediatrician no less. So an actual BABY doctor then. Diagnosed him.

He isn't faking after all.

And wouldn't you know it, he seems to prefer to sleep on his dear old dad when he's sick. Most likely because his mom is also sick and that's just not going to be as comfortable of an environment.

The downside to this is that it means daddy can't work. Which is bad news.

I slept a total of no time last night overall so haven't been at my best all day. I was up stupidly late as it was and then Blazer just wouldn't sleep all night which meant I didn't sleep and yada yada yada my mother is a champ.

She came to get Jeannette and the boy for his appointment with the doc, so I did manage to get a little work done. But not so much.

And I have plenty to do.

I have a lot of wheels to get in motion and trains to get on tracks. The workload has yet to be determined but I'm starting to get a handle on it I think.

I walked down to the water again today but it was a rough hike. The ocean was angry today my friends. The tide was in and fierce and it was far too cold to stay for any length of time. I had gone to check on a particular rock I saw there on the 5th to see if the ocean had taken it out.

I mean what kind of power are we talking about here? 600 billion tons of seawater moving in and out of the Bay every day.

My guess is won't be there, considering the rather massive boulder I was sitting on in the cave the other day was gone. But I didn't get to check as it was covered in about four feet of angry ocean.

By the time I got home I was wet and cold and wet. And so very cold. Then a bunch of people called the house one after the other and I finally got warm and worked a bit.

Then the family came home and I've been draped in baby ever since. Draped in baby and forced to watch what is now my third Sex and the City episode in a row.

...hour later.

I'll wrap this up for tonight. The baby is finally draped across the chest of another. His mother. And she just fed him. So we're all good in the hood.

And the organism gets to do some work.
